To change your door handle here's a simple to follow guide that can’t fail.

1) first take of your old door handle, which is essentially the reverse of fitting a new one!, if you have a new square spline supplied, then use that, place in where the other one used to be, if you have a slot in your spline make sure the slot is pointing face down,

2) Once your spline is in correctly, you can then place the backplate over the spline, when in place properly screw the backplate to the door with the provided screws, repeat this procedure again for the other side if the door.

3) Your now ready to fit the rest of the handle on to the spline, push the handle on fully, then the handle on the other side, and fully secure with the screw provided, this is your handle installation complete!!

4) Now if you are having a escutcheon fitted as well, it’s a very similar procedure as the handle fitment, just make sure you line the escutcheon up properly with the lock hole, hold in place and screw on, again repeat on the other side and then finally place the cover on.

5) Now test your door and/or lock, make sure everything works properly, stand back and enjoy your new look doors.
